Easy Fried Rice Recipe!


Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing splendid today and welcome back to my site! Today I want to share a very simple fried rice recipe that you can make with just a few ingredients. I first want to add that I'm no chef, but I do love to create meals at home that are both simple and tasty. This has been one of my favorite go to meals lately. I hope you enjoy!


For this recipe you will need:

2 cups cooked brown rice (preferably left overs from the day before)

1 egg

Soy Sauce

Baby Bella mushrooms

Bell peppers

Olive oil

Salt


Cook time: 20 minutes


Step 1:

Rinse your mushrooms and your bell peppers. If your mushrooms are not already pre-sliced then slice them. Make sure you also slice your bell peppers into the size you prefer. I personally cut them into strips and then cut the strips in half. Set aside.


Step 2:

Add a splash of oil to a saucepan and heat to medium. Wait until it is hot enough, add your mushrooms, and cook for 4-5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Salt to taste. Once cooked set aside and add another splash of oil to the same pan and add your bell peppers. You can cook these for about 4 minutes stirring occasionally. Once done, set aside with the mushrooms.


Step 3:

Take the day old rice and add it to the same saucepan and cook for 1 minute stirring occasionally. Then add the cooked mushrooms and cooked bell peppers. Continue cooking and stirring. After about a minute, add egg over rice and scramble until cooked. Then add as much soy sauce as you like. I personally added about 1 tablespoon. And you're done!!
